Maia worktops are the perfect solution for your kitchen work surface, available in a range of colours that will compliment any kitchen. Maia also comes in a number of sizes with both a 1.8metre and a 3.6 metre available; there is also a width choice of 600mm (standard) and the slightly wider 650mm option. To go with colour and size there is also a thickness choice, either 42mm or 54mm both of which available in the 1.8metre and 3.6metre lengths. The stylish Maia breakfast bars are available in two sizes and help to extend your dining and food preparation area considerably. Maia is made from a 3mm solid surface bonded to chipboard to achieve the thickness of 42mm and 54mm, because of this it’s not possible to mount a standard Under-mount sink...so Maia have designed a range of modules that include a sink with pop-up waste and drainer. If you don’t want to spend the extra money on an under-mount sink unit then of course you fit a top mounted sink.

Maia worktops can be fitted without specialist tools and by a confident DIY’er, although we would always recommend getting in a professional fitter to make sure the job is done correctly, and therefore meets with the Maia guidelines for validity of material warranty. Maia presents a great option to have a solid surface kitchen without the expense of Corian and other bespoke Solid Surface Worktops.
